Video tutorials

Short, step-by-step videos from the Testver YouTube channel, in the order to watch them. Each one shows the real app on a real project, from the first click to a working result. Click a chapter to jump straight to that part, and use Read the guide under a video for every detail it doesn’t have time for.

Install Testver on your own computer, open it on your existing test project and run your first test from the dashboard — in about five minutes. It works with the tests you already have: no rewrite, no migration.

What you’ll learn

  • Install Node.js and Testver with one command
  • Start Testver on your project and finish first-time setup
  • See your tests and run the first one from the dashboard
  • Connect AI — Testver cloud AI or a local model, both optional

2. Run Configuration: commands, browsers and environments

Section titled “2. Run Configuration: commands, browsers and environments”

8:55 5 chapters Published October 25, 2026

Run Configuration decides how every test run starts. Each setting is shown working: changed in Settings, then run from Test Explorer.

What you’ll learn

  • The Single Test, Suite / File and Full Run commands Testver detects, and when to change them
  • Test a command, or let AI suggest one checked against your project
  • Browsers and environments read from your code, picked from anywhere you start a run
  • Environment variables, and the Before and After commands around every run

Start with an empty folder and end with a complete test framework — structured, set up for every environment and already passing. The AI Assistant builds a Playwright + TypeScript framework for a web shop from one sentence.

What you’ll learn

  • Pick the skills, then ask for the framework in one line
  • It asks before it builds, explores the real app and proves the result on every browser
  • What it built: page objects, fixtures, test data, environments and reports
  • Run it by browser and environment, add the next test, and edit it in the Explorer

4. AI Assistant, Web mode: write, run and fix tests

Section titled “4. AI Assistant, Web mode: write, run and fix tests”

9:42 9 chapters Published October 26, 2026

The AI Assistant works inside your own test project: it reads your code, opens a real browser, writes and edits tests in your framework’s style, and runs them. Every Web mode feature, on a real project.

What you’ll learn

  • A test from one sentence — page object and spec in your framework, then run
  • The live browser: pause, take over, inspect, screen sizes and DevTools
  • Fix a failing test straight from Results, verified before it lands
  • Give it context: a CSV for a data-driven test, a requirement turned into linked test cases

5. AI Assistant, API mode: API testing in plain words

Section titled “5. AI Assistant, API mode: API testing in plain words”

8:06 10 chapters Published October 30, 2026

Describe the API test you want in plain words: the AI Assistant sends the requests, checks the answers and saves everything in your project. Every API mode feature, running against a real API.

What you’ll learn

  • Requests with checks, an imported OpenAPI spec and environments
  • Chains, data-driven runs from a CSV and negative tests
  • Contract testing, mocks, real-time streams and a basic load test
  • Real automated API tests in your own framework, from one sentence

6. AI Record agent: record a journey, get a real test

Section titled “6. AI Record agent: record a journey, get a real test”

10:01 10 chapters Published November 2, 2026

Use your web app the way a user would, and the AI Record agent turns the journey into a real, working test in your project’s own framework. Add checks and complex steps in plain words, and change the test later from the same session or from History.

What you’ll learn

  • Record a full shop journey — sign-in, filters, cart, coupon and a 5-step checkout — with assertions and Pause
  • AI Annotations: automate complex checks and tasks in plain words, like “total = subtotal − discount + shipping + tax”
  • Custom steps: reuse your login helper with @, save values for later steps, test data from a CSV, setup before the test
  • The AI writes, runs and fixes the test until it passes on Chrome and Firefox — then change it now or later from History
